20 years ago Taylor Steele produced the milestone Momentum surf film featuring young surfers of the day Kelly Slater, Rob Machado, Shane Dorian, Taylor Knox, Kalani Robb, Benji Weatherly, Ross Williams and the Malloy brothers.
In July 2012 a reunion was held at Kandui Villas in the Mentawais.
